Services :- Knowledge Base |
Our Biomedical Knowledge Bases link cell and molecular biology knowledge with genomics and proteomics knowledge and information on assays, reagents, cell-lines and animal models as well as their suppliers (including commercial vendors and academic labs) and serve as a comprehensive and rich knowledge resource for your research. Our knowledge stores contain structured, hand-curated and richly annotated information derived from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, technical reports, conference proceedings, expert seminars and research articles. Some examples of connected data elements in our knowledge bases include information about genes, proteins and their functional relationships, protein-protein interactions, signal transduction networks, metabolic pathways, gene regulatory networks and the like. Importantly, the knowledge bases present multiple lines of evidence for research findings where results from literature analysis are combined with evidence from experiments and genome analysis to improve the accuracy of results and to generate additional knowledge beyond what can be discerned solely from literature.
We also prepare custom knowledge bases as per the requirements of individual researchers (for example, based on specific target biomolecules or subject areas). Our knowledge bases and industry reports enhance research efficiency and productivity by enhancing decision-making, hypothesis management and knowledge discovery. This in turn reduces the time to generate useful data by freeing up individuals researchers from the painstaking task of trawling through limited data sources to acquire and assimilate disconnected bits of data. |
